The application presented here can be used to calculate the compressibility factor or z factor of a gas, at given conditions of temperature and pressure. Pitzer correlations are used to find out the compressibility factor as a function of reduced temperature and reduced pressure. To find out the reduced properties of a gas, its critical properties must be known first.

Critical pressure of gas (Pc) = bara
Critical temperature of gas (Tc) = K
Absolute pressure of gas (P) = bara
Temperature of gas (T) = K
Compressibility factor z =
